Would be Eligible for Request (if we had Heraldry)

2.11.3.11 To be eligible for assignment, an award must meet all of the following criteria:

2.11.3.11.1 The award must affect the Atlantian Order of Precedence.

2.11.3.11.2 If the award requires the display of Arms, the recipient must have registered both Name and Arms with the College of Arms.

2.11.3.11.3 At the time of assignment, the award must have been received during the current reign or the previous six reigns, or the recipient must have submitted a request to the Office of the Signet. The request must include the recipient's valid contact information and details of the award.

If your scroll is in this category it meets 2.11.3.11.1 but not 2.11.3.11.2 and 2.11.3.11.3.  You need to register heraldry and submit a request to have your award moved to the Eligible for Assignment category.

The scroll for the first award that the recipient receives at each level (AoA, GoA, PoA) requires a heraldic display.  The awards that usually require a heraldic display (and need a registered device to meet 2.11.3.11.2) are:

Award (AoA) Level

• Award of Arms
• Court Baron/Baroness
• Opal
• Coral Branch
• Silver Osprey
• Sea Dragon
• King's Missiliers
• Quintain

Grant (GoA) Level

• Court Baron/Baroness w/Grant
• Grant of Arms
• White Scarf
• Golden Dolphin
• Kraken
• Pearl
• Sea Stag
• Yew Bow

Patent (PoA) Level

• Knight
• Laurel
• Pelican
• Count/Countess (w/Order of the Rose)
• Duke/Duchess

If your award is an exception to this assumption let me know and I'll fix it on an individual basis.

The last requirement (2.11.3.11.3) says if you didn't receive your award recently and you haven't submitted a request then your award won't be assigned.

Here are the reigns whose scrolls currently do not require a request.

This list will change with every new Crown.

There are two ways to make a request

• Send the Clerk Signet an email (or US Mail) with the following information:

• Your modern name and valid contact info - can be as little as an email address or as much as full address and phone.  If your scribe (or my office) can't find you when we're ready to make the scroll it goes back to the Eligible for Request category.


• Details of each scroll you are requesting - Name of award, award date & anything else you'd like your scribe to know.

• Use the recipient information form - deliver to the Clerk Signet by hand, email or US Mail.
