Welcome! There is nothing like the moment when you are called into court to be recognized with an award. The College of Scribes creates award scrolls to commemorate and document these achievements and honors of the populace. Scribes provide a creative visual memory of this wonderful aspect of the SCA. Scribes are volunteers who freely share their art and creativity by doing either Illumination or Calligraphy or as is often the case both to produce a unique works of art. The Kingdom of Atlantia’s College of Scribes has an excellent reputation for the quality of its scribal work in terms of both artistry and authenticity. We have talented members who can help you discover the scribe in you. Join us in creating art to celebrate with our friends by providing scrolls for their special moments.

Dear Scribes of Atlantia,
As of Ymir, I am stepping down as Clerk Signet. It has been a wonderful 2+ years and I have had the pleasure of getting to know many of you through this office. My successor is Baroness Tegan De Moreton. Please continue to give her the wealth of help and artistry that was shown me.
I would like to thank all the wonderful scribes in this kingdom. From the ones who made scrolls on short notice, to ones who tackle the backlog one scroll at a time. Thank you to the scriptoriums that shared so generously. The art produced by the scribes of this kingdom has been inspiring. We have expanded the ideas of what a scroll is to now include such mediums as embroidery, stain glass, metal and many others. I am proud of each of you who stretched yourself and tried something new.
For the remainder of this reign I will be Court Secretary and still organizing scrolls for TRM Vladimir and Kalisa. I will also continue on in the role of Backlog Deputy. Please feel free to contact me if you are ever in need or have a scribal question. It has been a honor and pleasure serving this Kingdom.

Sad announcement

It is with a sad heart that I pass these missives along. If you are working on a scroll that would require her signature, please see me.
Atlantia,
It is with very sad hearts that we write to you today. Atlantia has lost one of its most loved members. Duchess Arielle the Golden passed away this morning after a nine year battle with cancer. She was undergoing treatment in Houston, Texas at MD Anderson hospital.
At this time, arrangements are still being made and information will be provided as We know more. We ask that you please give Duke Valharic space during this difficult time. Please continue to send cards or other correspondence to Mistress Alesia, Kingdom Seneschal.

It is with a heavy and grieving heart that I come to tell you all that Atlantia has lost it's own Golden Rose. Duchess Arielle the Golden left us all early this morning. She left peacefully with those she loved at her side.
She was, is and always shall be an inspiration to everyone who has had the grace to know her. She is a shining example of all that is lovely, gracious and good in us all. May we all hold her in our memories and in our hearts for all time as she will hold us in hers. We will miss her greatly, but she will be with us in our hearts for all time.
